Shalom Parents                                                                                                April, 2011 Spring is here and we have so much going on at preschool! I hope everyone enjoyed their spring break! I was on a fun Bay Area trip visiting friends and family. It went by so quickly! We are in full swing with Passover projects and getting ready for Open House! The children are really enjoying hearing all about Passover. They love singing about Pharoah and the plagues, and they especially love talking about the foods we eat at a seder. I am going to be hiding the afikomen next week in the classroom. I will be sure to video tape the children looking for it! Our school seder was a great success. Thank You for bringing the delicious food items. The children sat very nicely while Rabbi Lisa led a fun seder. In addition to Passover, we are talking about insects. Soon we will be getting our own caterpillars/butterflies to take care of! We are also collecting donations for our two baskets to auction off at Open House. One basket is all things COFFEE and the other is all things GARDENING! We hope you will contribute to one of them!
